2005 Garden Competition – call for entries!

Garden nurseries throughout have been reporting record sales as Ayrshire Housing tenants get their gardens ready for the annual competition. As in previous years, we will have a number of categories including gardens, containers, window boxes and best kept closes.
Gardens will be judged on their appearance, care and attention and originality. There will also be a special award for the best new garden (in a development less than two years old).
We are giving plenty of notice this year and hope to judge entries late July or early August, hopefully while the gardens are still in full bloom.
E-mail your interest telling us which category you are entering or return the form in the spring newsletter.
Bumper prizes await the winners in the various categories so let’s get the tools out and start planting.
