I think this is a joke. These houses should of been ready for the tenants a year ago but they still aren’t and you have put their rent up. I think the newspapers would like this as story.

Simon, we share your frustration and can only apologise for the delay. It has been a difficult contract, complicated by matters outwith our direct control and for which the builder bears much responsibility. The good news is that the work is nearly complete and the houses will be occupied soon.
Rents are based on house type/size and are reviewed annually as is common with other landlords. However, the recent rent increase in Ayrshire Housing properties was the lowest by an Ayrshire housing association.
