Supporting the Ayr Flower Show

Now in its 51st year, the Ayr Flower Show will be held on 5th to 7th August at Ayr’s Rozelle Estate.
Ayrshire Housing is pleased to be sponsoring the show’s inter-schools design-a-garden competition. Every primary and “special needs” school throughout Ayrshire has been invited to participate. Each is invited to design a garden on this year’s theme of a kitchen garden.
The winning school will receive a prize of £100 and its garden is then built as a display outside the Junior Flower Show marquee.
Ayrshire Housing’s support reflects the reputation of many of its tenants as keen gardeners. Our tenants have just received noticed of this year’s garden competition.

As a fellow sponsor of the Show I am delighted at your promotion of this competition for schools/young people. While the Miniature gardens have always been well supported the full size versions seem not to have had the same attention!
