Who We Are
Ayrshire Housing was formed in April 2003 when Carrick Housing Association and South Ayrshire Homes merged. Ayrshire Housing’s governance structure is based on a partnership of its tenants, South Ayrshire Council and the communities. Each is guaranteed 5 places on the Board. It is registered in Scotland as a company limited by guarantee (no: 185652) and is a Scottish charity (no: SC 027906). The association is also a Registered Social Landlord (no: 304) and as such is regulated by the Scottish Government.

All tenants are automatically members. We also welcome membership from anyone interested in supporting our work. Please see our Company Profile and Membership Leaflet below for more details and an application form:

They are entitled, if they wish, to seek election to the Board. Membership is free of charge.
The Board normally meets in the evening of the last Wednesday of each month. If you would like to attend one or to see Board minutes and papers, just contact us. Ayrshire Housing is committed to equal opportunities.
