Following a comprehensive competitive tendering exercise, we are pleased to announce that JD Thomson (Property Care Ltd) of Maybole have been appointed to undertake reactive maintenance works from 1 June 2011.
During office hours, tenants should report repair requests on the ‘Lo-Call’ telephone number 0845 2712327 or alternatively on 01292 880120. Staff will record details of the repair request and issue works instructions to the appropriate contractor. When the office is closed, an answering machine message will give details of the JD Thomson (Property Care Ltd) out-of hours service on 01655 882234, who will send an operative to attend (repairs for gas central heating appliances will be passed to O’Neil Gas). For certain repairs it may be necessary to complete a temporary repair and instruct follow on works to be undertaken during normal working hours.
Tenants are reminded that only genuine emergencies will be actioned immediately and that other requests will be dealt with by Ayrshire Housing staff the next working day.
Suspected gas leaks should be reported to National Grid (formerly Transco) on 0800 111 999.
