Ayrshire Housing has cemented its long standing relationship with the Ayr based homelessness charity Care and Share with another £500 donation. On top of this, the association has also donated £500 to the South Ayrshire Foodbank.
Paul Torrance, Ayrshire Housing’s Chair says “It’s sadly a sign of the times that there is more and more pressure on the hard working volunteers of these two charities. So Ayrshire Housing is pleased to support their work. We know that many of our applicants and tenants are benefiting from the services they offer”.
Care and Share runs a weekly drop in centre and other activities for those who are homeless or in a vulnerable housing situation.
South Ayrshire Foodbank coordinates five volunteer run centres from Girvan north to Troon.
