At our recent AGM, we were delighted to announce the winners of this year’s garden competition. The event was as competitive as ever with entries from urban gardens to village kitchen gardens.
Kevin Duncan once again won the best garden prize with his splendid garden in Ayr’s Lochside neighbourhood. He was presented with an engraved Dutch hoe.
The best container entry is by Vanda McLean of Girvan. Vanda continues to transform the workway entrance at Kirkbrae with a vibrant display.
It was great that two of our new tenants at Burns Wynd, Maybole were the joint winners in the best new garden category. Andrea Corrin and Christina Allan have created stunning gardens to enjoy in the six months since they moved into their new homes.
A further six gardeners received commendations.
