Ayrshire Housing has held another one of its regular bake-offs to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Campaign. A whole range of goodies from Empire biscuits to an Irish cider cake were baked. The suitably pink attired staff team enjoyed comparing their individual creations.
The event is one of series of health themed events being organised as part of Ayrshire Housing’s Healthy Working Lives initiative. Aside from baking, the team has been enjoying the produce of its very own office garden. This has included tomatoes, rhubarb, horseradish and a wide range of herbs.
One of the event organisers Caroline Donald says “I’m delighted with everyone’s efforts to make today a success. We’ve raised £170 for this good cause”.
