This year’s best gardeners were presented with their certificates at the AGM. Each also receives an engraved garden tool in recognition of all their hard work and the pleasure they give their neighbours.
Mr James McPherson of Crown Square won in the best small garden category. The judges were delighted to see how he had personalised a shared area in this popular development. Mrs Georgina Watson (Straiton) and Mr and Mrs Alexander (Kirkmichael) Shared the best large garden award.
They were joined by three other keen gardeners who were awarded commendations.
