Ayrshire Housing is a leading housing provider and registered charity. Our annual turnover is over £10 millions. Last year, we invested over £8 millions as we added to our stock and improved further the quality of our existing houses. Our development projects are widely recognised for the quality of their design. We ensure their long-term worth through friendly tenant focused management. We extend our impact by engaging with the wider communities of Ayrshire through partnerships, grant awards and other initiatives.
Our three-year Business Plan sets out ambitious targets to expand our stock and our services.
Our Board structure is based on a partnership of our tenants and Ayrshire’s communities. We wish to recruit committed and knowledgeable individuals for two vacancies in our community category. We are particularly interested to hear from people with an interest and/or experience in housing and social affairs, or with the financial knowledge to contribute to the supervision of a significant not for profit company. The positions are subject to election by our community members. There are also two places available in the tenants section. All the positions are unpaid although travelling expenses are refundable. Attendance at up to ten evening meetings a year can be expected. We offer comprehensive induction and role development support. We are committed to equal opportunities.
