What we can do
Our Money Advice Team will help you check your entitlement to Universal Credit (UC) and when the changes might affect you.
Your Housing Officer can also help by giving you up to date information about your rent for your UC claim. They can also help you to arrange to pay your rent on time to avoid the risk of arrears building up.
Other sources of assistance
You will need to manage your UC account online, however you can speak to your case manager by phoning 0800 328 9344.
If you are facing delays in benefit payment and financial hardship, you can apply to the Scottish Welfare Fund through your local Council.
We can also assist with help from local foodbanks.
