Repairs

As most restrictions end, our repairs service is returning to normal. Can you be patient though as we clear the backlog that built up during the lockdowns. We are also having some problems with getting materials at the moment.

Most of the repairs to your home are our responsibility, although there are a few which you have to do yourself. Please refer to your Tenant’s Handbook for full details.

You can report repairs in the following ways:

To report  emergency repairs, please phone us at 01292 880120 (during normal business hours). Outwith these hours, contact Gas Sure at 01294 468113 who process all our out of hours repair requests.

It may help if you email us a photograph or video of the defect you want repaired. This will reduce the need for prior inspections. These can be sent to repairs@ayrshirehousing.org.uk.

We cannot do non-emergency repairs for households who are self-isolating. Emergency repairs will however be carried so long as it is safe to do so.

For all repair requests, we will ask you some questions regarding your health and we may need to pass on this information. We will handle this information in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

The contractor will provide instructions for you to follow before considering entering your home.
