Most of the repairs to your home are our responsibility, although there are a few which you have to do yourself. Please refer to your Tenant’s Handbook for full details.
You can report repairs in the following ways:
- Register for or sign into My Home 24 hours a day to log non-emergency repairs.
- Phone us on 01292 880120 or text us on 07860 020459.
- Write to us at Ayrshire Housing, 119 Main Street, Ayr, KA8 8BX.
- Email us at repairs@ayrshirehousing.org.uk. Do not do this for emergency repairs though.
To report emergency repairs, please phone us at 01292 880120 (during normal business hours). Outwith these hours, contact Gas Sure at 01294 468113 who process all our out of hours repair requests.
It may help if you email us a photograph or video of the defect you want repaired. This will reduce the need for prior inspections. These can be sent to repairs@ayrshirehousing.org.uk.
We cannot carry out non-emergency repairs for households who are self-isolating. Emergency repairs will however be carried so long as it is safe to do so.
For all repair requests, we will ask you some questions regarding your health and we may need to pass on this information. We will handle this information in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
The contractor will provide instructions for you to follow before considering entering your home.
